PRIVACY POLICY

 
The controller of personal data is a self-employed natural person, Matěj Kachel, Company ID (IČO): 24618586, with registered office at Gregorova 1757/42, 741 01 Nový Jičín, registered in the Trade Register (hereinafter referred to as the “Controller”).
 

I operate the e-shop Unique Sneakers on the website www.uniquesnkrs.com.

When providing services, selling goods (custom handmade sneakers made to order), and operating the website, I process personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR).

1. SCOPE OF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSED

I process in particular the following data:

  • first and last name
  • billing address
  • delivery address
  • email address
  • phone number
  • order details (including specifications of custom modifications)
  • for business customers also company ID (IČO) and VAT ID (DIČ), if provided
  • payment data (processed by the payment gateway; I do not store them in full)

2. DATA PROCESSING WHEN CONTACTING ME

If you contact me (email, phone, social networks, contact form), I process:

  • name and contact details
  • content of the message

Purpose:

  • handling inquiries
  • customer communication
  • preparation or conclusion of a contract

Legal basis:

  • Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual negotiations)
  • Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest – responding to inquiries)

Retention period:

  • up to 12 months from the last communication

3. DATA PROCESSING FOR ORDERS (CUSTOM PRODUCTION)

If you place an order, I process personal data for the purpose of:

  • production of custom footwear according to the order
  • conclusion and performance of a purchase contract
  • delivery of goods
  • communication regarding the order
  • handling complaints
  • fulfilment of legal obligations (accounting, taxes)
  • protection of legal claims (e.g. disputes, complaints, chargebacks)

Legal basis:

  • Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract – custom production)
  • Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (legal obligation)
  • Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest – protection of rights)

Retention period:

  • for the duration of the contractual relationship
  • thereafter for the period necessary to protect legal claims (usually 4 years)
  • accounting documents for the period required by law (usually 5–10 years)

4. USER ACCOUNT

If you create an account, I process:

  • first and last name
  • email
  • password (hashed)
  • optionally other profile data

Purpose:

  • management of the user account
  • easier order processing

Legal basis:

  • Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract)

Retention period:

  • for the duration of the account’s existence
  • the account may be deleted after 12 months of inactivity

5. RECIPIENTS OF PERSONAL DATA

Personal data may be disclosed to:

  • Shoptet a.s. (e-shop platform provider)
  • GoPay (payment gateway)
  • shipping carriers: Zásilkovna, PPL, DPD, GLS, Czech Post / Balíkovna
  • accountants and tax advisors (if used)

Personal data is not transferred outside the EU.

6. COOKIES

I use cookies for:

  • proper website functionality
  • traffic analysis
  • marketing (only with consent)

Cookies are:

  • essential
  • analytical
  • marketing

Consent can be changed or withdrawn at any time.

7. RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS

You have the right to:

  • access your personal data
  • rectification
  • erasure
  • restriction of processing
  • data portability
  • object to processing
  • withdraw consent (if applicable)
